Graffigna Pinot Grigio
With a winemaking tradition that spans 140 years, has the honor of being the oldest winery in the Argentine province of San Juan, the second oldest in the country and the first winery in Argentina to sell branded wines. Today, Graffigna is one of Pernod Ricard's four global wine brands and iconic of Argentina's progress as a quality wine producer.
In recent years, as part of our philosophy of continuous improvement, Graffigna launched a viticulture study and development process in San Juan with the support of an international team of experts led by Victor Marcantoni and with the consultancy of renowned winemaker Phil Laffer. An ambitious investment plan was also deployed. In order to increase production and storage capacity, cutting-edge agricultural technology, equipment and production techniques were incorporated.
In 2009, Graffigna was named "Winery of the Year" in the USA by The Critics Challenge and Graffigna Centenario became the most awarded Malbec of 2007-2008. Moreover, in 2010, Graffigna's Malbecs (Grand Reserve and Centenario) were awarded with 90 points by acclaimed critic Robert Parker.
In 2012 Graffigna had parented with Riedel “The Creators of Grape varietal specific concept”, to create The First Malbec Glass for the World. This partnership represented the first step in Graffigna strategy of partnering with international recognized brands in the world of wine.
In 2013 Graffigna launched a new member of Centenario family: The Elevation Red Blend, composed by: Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Tannat. Also, during this year, Graffigna had presented the new image of their high end ranges Grand Reserve and Santiago Graffigna.
Today, Graffigna continues to consistently embrace innovation without relinquishing its rich history and tradition.

Elegant, harmonious and delicate, full of fresh flower and fruit aromas, this young, aromatic and subtle wine is the product of the utmost care and exclusive treatment.
Tasting notes: Bright clear gold. Hints of jasmine and notes of white fruits like peach and apricot, with a refined finish."
On the palate the wine is crisp, but with a surprising roundness on the finish that wasn’t expected but rather nice. Tropical notes were a nice compliment. It’s certainly a good pairing for seafood, but I could also see it being a good bottle to pop open while sitting on the deck or patio on a warm day. Try with seafood, as well as Asian dishes, cheeses.
